50 Comics Positives In 2012: Kate Beaton's Panel At Comic-Con



I was fairly blown away by Kate Beaton's spotlight panel at Comic-Con International this year, although apparently not enough to take a non-horrible photo of the event. The room was packed, Beaton was super-funny and the crowd was intensely into it, showering more affection the cartoonist's direction than I'd maybe ever seen at a panel before. Someone was holding up a "marry me" sign. It was a scene.
