50 Comics Positives In 2012: Zunar Fights On



I don't know how many people expected the Malaysian cartoonist Zunar to win even a partial victory in his country's courts regarding his unfair arrest and the confiscation of his book under dubious application of law. There was no victory lap, partial or otherwise, as Zunar laudably hammered civil authorities for all of the ways in which he believe his rights as an artist and citizen were put at risk. We continue to hope for the best possible outcome.
