I found this one amusing, if not in any way accomplished to the point it deserves widespread distribution in the already-crowded alternative humor comics field. Wolfgang seems to realize this as well, and the first feature is a primarily an illustrated essay on why comics are doomed and why his own work is lacking. It's hard for me to add anything to his own analysis, except that he also may overwrite -- it slows any narrative force to almost nothing, making the pictures take on more of a burden than his art can handle. But there's a germ of something here, and it work in this mini-comic format.

This review was written in the late 1990s as part of a then-ongoing freelance gig; I apologize if it reads oddly or seems incomplete.
