The cartoonist can draw -- there are single panels, in particular, that are very appealing -- but does this comic have a point? A long, drawn-out encounter between de facto protagonist Moriarity Carbunkle (the chick magnet) and Catholic schoolgirl reporter Boo Atticus. There's some nonsense with an actual "chick" magnet, but mostly it's a guy-meets-girl talky that really doesn't hold my interest. But the art is more accomplished than usual, and I'd like to see more work from the cartoonist.

This review was written in the late 1990s as part of a then-ongoing freelance gig; I apologize if it reads oddly or seems incomplete.
