Boy, this isn't my thing, but I think it's a pretty good version of the kind of thing that isn't my thing. A confessional, personal 'zine edited and mostly-written by New York-based Queen Itchie -- features include "The Women of Shit & Garbage," "Great Scorpios in Literature" and "Who the Boys Are." This is standard 'zine territory: basically a blueprint for how one person views the world. But Queen Itchie writes much smarter prose than most of the people self-publishing in this fashion, and with an amusing sense of humor. There are some comics here, as well, the best being illustrations from Itchie herself. Imagine the text pieces in the new, expanded Hate overwhelming the comics sections.

This review was written in the late 1990s as part of a then-ongoing freelance gig; I apologize if it reads oddly or seems incomplete.
