Flipped! is David P. Welsh's manga column, which we're thrilled to host at The Comics Reporter after its long run at the now-defunct Comic World News. We are also privileged to host that site's archive of past Flipped! columns.
David Welsh is an highly-regarded member of a growing community of critics reviewing translated manga works, a group of writers that has come to prominence alongside the massive success enjoyed by manga publishing in North America over the past decade. His on-line home base is Precocious Curmudgeon, a must-visit site on a daily basis for any number of well-informed fans. A former journalist now working in public relations, Welsh lives in West Virgina.
