Andrew Farago on 1602’s Best New Series Nomination

Here's another one that I think shouldn't be on the Harvey ballot:

Best New Series: 1602 (Marvel)

The first issues of this one were released in 2003, so it's not "new," and it was scheduled for only eight issues, so it doesn't meet the comic book definition of "series" (dictionary definition, sure, but there's a separate "limited series" category, and that's that). I'll leave it up to the voters to determine whether or not it was "best," but I can't figure out how this one made it onto the final version of the ballot.
