Gary Usher On Recent CR Stuff... Okay, Recent When He Sent It In
posted October 11, 2009

I just wanted to thank you for the in-depth coverage in your "Collective Memory: Disney/Marvel" section. I've only got a fraction of the way through it and have learned quite a few things, such as the foreign licensees of Marvel and Disney or THE ECONIMIST article.

I also enjoyed the special guest article by Ng Suat Tong on Labor Day, it's something I don't spend a lot of time thinking about as I don't read any superhero comics anymore. Any article that uses comic scripts for illustrations is already a favorite, but Ng Suat Tong's breakdown of the fallacy of the writer-driven age of comics was both well-thought-out, well-researched, and strongly-supported with many telling examples.
