Larry Doherty On Larry's Comic Book Show (PR)
posted November 28, 2009

Larry's Comic Book Show proudly welcomes Rob Guillory, artist of the hit indie comic Chew, to their Thanksgiving weekend show. Rob says in addition to doing quick sketches and selling original art pages from all six issues of Chew, "I may bring out some sneak peeks at future issues of the book, just for the fans there."

As a special incentive, an exclusive limited edition variant of the sold out first issue will be available for sale at the show. "Chew very well may be the runaway best-selling new series of the year," says promoter Larry Doherty, "I am thrilled to be hosting series artist Rob Guillory for his first time meeting New England comic fans."

Also present will be Larry's Comics in-house artist Kris Carter (Grimm Fairy Tales, Leprechaun) and art rep to the stars Bob Shaw of Comic Art House. Dozens of local retailers will be hawking their wares with more deals than a Black Friday Sale. Pick up all the comics, trade paperbacks, cards, toys, and memorabilia for your holiday season needs. Bring the family out to celebrate the wonderful world of comics.

The show will be held on November 29, 2009 from 9am-3pm at the Westford Regency (219 Littleton Road, Westford, MA 01886). Admission is $5. Please check out LarrysComics.net for more details.
