Bruce J. Cole on Oola Vs. Ooola
posted December 29, 2005

So, I'm reading the Comics Reporter as I usually do, tho not as frequently as I ought, and here's a quick hit to an article, and the link is named "Oola tells her story." I'm thinking, what's a really minor Star Wars character (the green dancing girl in "Return of the Jedi") have to do with comics?

Of course, it's a link to a story about the model for Alley Oop's woman Ooola with three o's not two as specified in the story, even... so Mr. S I think you need a big ol' rubber chicken across the face for silliness' sake. smack!

(Sorry. I was once a proofreader, and while it's not really a major error, see how a little tiny typo like forgetting one "O" can change meaning?)

Tom Spurgeon Responds: I was wondering where that chicken came from.
