Irfan Petition Leads to 5/24 Hearing

As hoped for by the family of deceased Indian cartoonist Irfan, a Delhi high court
has asked for papers in preparation for a May 24 hearing on a petition to have the case surrounding the 1999 murder of the popular artist re-investigated by an independent agency. The petition basically lays out the prosecutors and the investigating police officers for massive indifference and malfeasance during the original query and subsequent trial. This could become an extremely interesting story if the cases is re-opened, and it's not a bad one right now.
