As more evidence that the media's relationship to comics has changed almost 100 percent in recent years, the
New York Sun's Gary Shapiro
provides a blow by blow of a panel discussion Monday night at the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art that wouldn't be out of place on a comics industry web site or message board two days after San Diego Con. The panel, in celebration of Arie Kaplan's
Masters of the Comic Book Universe Revealed!, seems to have started out by engaging the topic of comics' growth as an art form but most of the good details in Shapiro's report arise from the backstage, more business-related anecdotes.
