Panini Comics' Launches: A YouTube For Comics?

I'm not sure if I totally understand what's going on here, but Stefan Dinter wrote in to say that the Panini Comics site could be thought of as a "YouTube for comics," in that it's open to uploads from anyone that has rights to a comic in order to upload it, even though the site itself is owned by Panini. Although it seems dominated by previews and "trailers," and of course YouTube is driven to a large extent by people uploading stuff that doesn't necessarily belong to them, it seems like the big company owned, little company accessible model is something maybe to watch.
