Paul Peter Porges, RIP

This has been a ruthless year for comics passings. Talent-to-talent, no neighborhood in our sprawling community has suffered more in 2016 than that of the later-period
New Yorker cartoonists. Porges was also a
MAD artist and a prolific
Saturday Evening Post contributor, which taken all together is sort of like a musician having been in the Beatles, the Rolling Stones and the Byrds.
He had an interesting life.
