This used to be a more stressful time of the year, as I think more of a professional freelance pool depended on going to SDCC and depended on getting a room from their list in order to facilitate such a strip. I would imagine almost everyone that still uses SDCC in that matter has some sort of connection to the professional round of room securement. Not all, though.
