* applications are now open for Gahanna's Tiny Papers Comic/zine Fest 2019. That one looks like fun.

* I like that more groups are sponsoring individual cartoonists within shows and festivals. That would seem to solve a lot of the hitch-steps involved in the current flush of shows available out there.

* I love the name of this editorial writer.

* finally, applications and registration is due before the end of a May for a spiffy-looking continuing education program for BD at the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library and Museum.
