Bundled, Tossed, Untied And Stacked: Publishing News

By Tom Spurgeon:

* Noah Van Sciver pulls an image from next Spring's complete Fante Bukowski collection and enthuses over the book itself. That should be an interesting book to read all under one cover.

* the Baby-Sitters franchise expands sideways. I'm amazed it took this long. I don't know that there's so much franchising in YA Comics yet I should be worried about the amount of original work being done and paid attention to, but I always prefer original work. Those readers likely don't share those biases.

* a gigantic adaptation of The Witches featuring work by Pénélope Bagieu is on its way. Looks like the French version is early 2020.

* the great Calvin Reid profiles new nonfiction comics specialist Street Noise Books.

* finally, another sign I should be retiring: I don't even know what Vault Comics is.
