I was a little distressed when he moved in the direction of geek opinion-leading, but I'm glad he's actually going to do some research into that area rather than assume those broad claims to be truth. I know that anecdotally, the conventional wisdom as to geek endorsement of this or that at a big show seems to work out in terms of actual success just about as frequently as flipping a coin.
