Webcomics Cartoonist Karen Ellis Loses Everything In Weekend Building Fire Via Lea Hernandez, Gary Tyrrell and a host of others comes word that Karen Ellis, the cartoonist behind the on-line Planet Karen, was apparently forced from her home and lost everything in a fire that killed an upstairs neighbor. This apparently happened over the weekend. Those first two links have information on how to help through some sort of small financial donation to keep Ellis afloat while she adjusts to her new circumstance; the third link will take you to one of Ellis' pages where a donation button usually used for supporting her comics work can now be employed in a different manner.
