If you comic book writers have a beef about Marvel's purchasing policies write about that as being your beef. It's not Lenticular's fault! Lenticular is just a method of printing a specialized image onto the smooth side of a sheet of lenticular (in reverse) so that when you flip it over and view the image from the lens side you see various effects. I am seeing ing a lot of lenticular bashing online right now and I wish it would just stop.
