50 Comics Positives In 2012: The Dylan Williams Collection

image

How fantastic is it that one of our great repositories for print comics has decided to invest in a major collection of small-press and handmade comics? That's a category not only stuffed to the rafters with major quality comics-making, but one that's at risk to losing a lot of what it's done to history -- there is no real collector's market for such books, not yet. How appropriate that Billy Ireland's effort is named after the late cartoonist and publisher Dylan Williams? I love this story, and I urge everyone to consider a donation.
