Archaia Secures Capital From Chicago-Based Investors

The hobby business news and analysis site ICv2.com has a short piece up indicating that Archaia Comics will receive a capital investment from a group of Chicago-area investors, and that this money will be put into brand development and on-line publishing. Archaia's comics aren't always comics intended for my personal audience profile, but it seems to me they've done a fine job of staking out a publishing niche, producing high-quality works to fulfill that mandate, and maintaining a level of consistency across the board that I imagine has garnered them a lot of fans. Plus they publish the English translation of The Secret History, which I think is a gas.
