Two short mini-comics put together as a flip-book, each taking up six pages plus a cover leading to the center staples. Tom Devlin's story, "New York City Dream" is a surrealistic take on the Midnight Cowboy innocent but not-so-innocent theme. David Gavril's stories are mini-comics staple: a rock and roll reminiscence about an event at a rock show (actually, a mugging before the show), and a meditation on his own inability to pay attention, which makes nice use of the comics form in depicting the dreams floating around his head. Devlin's is the more interesting of the two contributors, I think, although neither one really shines here.

This review was written in the late 1990s as part of a then-ongoing freelance gig; I apologize if it reads oddly or seems incomplete.
