A collection of cartoons by very young cartoonists -- one in strip form, the others in regular comics-page format. The best in here is Craig's Death Swamp, which manages some nice surreal moments and shows Craig's ability to carry a reader through a story without words. Everything here still needs a lot of work before I could even begin to think to recommend it. Gail's work, the strip, needs the most help.

This review was written in the late 1990s as part of a then-ongoing freelance gig; I apologize if it reads oddly or seems incomplete.
