Marjane Satrapi, author of The Complete Persepolis (Pantheon)

Marjane Satrapi's acclaimed two-volume graphic novel Persepolis , the story of her unforgettable childhood and coming of age in Tehran during the Islamic Revolution, has just been adapted into a movie from Sony Pictures Classics, to be released on Christmas Day. In the meantime, Pantheon has released the entire graphic novel in one beautiful volume, and you can have it signed by the author! There will be no formal reading, but Marjane will be here at the bookstore to sign copies of The Complete Persepolis and chat with fans this evening: the perfect gift for fans of graphic novels, or girls looking for great stories and art.
