David Scroggy on Gremlins Signing in Hollywood 3-19-08

I am not sure if this is the type of thing that you are interested in at Comics Reporter, but I wanted to let you know about it just in case.

It is a special signing at the Disney Soda Fountain and Studio Store on Hollywood Boulevard to he held Wednesday evening March 19th. It celebrates the release of a project very near and dear to our hearts, "The Return of the Gremlins," a new comic book by Mike Richardson and Dean Yeagle that updates the characters created in the Roald Dahl masterpiece, The Gremlins, re-published by Dark Horse. But you knew that, didn't you? The new comic also reprints some of the vintage Walt Kelly Gremlins one-pagers.

The hardcover Gremlins book features an introduction by none other than Leonard Maltin, who will be joining Mike and Dean at the signing. In addition to the Gremlins book and comic, we have also just published Mr. Maltin's new book Movie Crazy under the M Press imprint.

Our pals at the Disney Soda Fountain and Studio store are stocking up on the various Gremlins books, toys and statuettes.

We have worked hard on these projects, and want nothing more than for them to succeed and find an audience.

March 19th date for the event.
The event will be from 6:00- 9:00.
Mike Richardson and Leonard Maltin will sign between 7:00-9:00
