Thanks for the excellent mention of Terry's new comics store in the Rogers Park area. He is a staple of comics fans of the north shore and really deserves success in his venture.

Wow! Whether through bad karma or lack of presence, I just missed you during your your visit to Northwestern, as my shop is four blocks north of Ryan Field at the end of the purple train line here in Wilmette. Please feel free to stop by sometime when you're in the area again, as I am an old fart in the history of Chicago comics and would enjoy gabbing with you. I grew up in Rogers Park just around the corner from Larry's and believe it or not, his attitude helped me take a career turn in my mature years and decide to open a comics shop.
