I enjoyed the four issues of Thor by Warren Ellis which were published around the same time as Ruins. That series had a real odd stepping out of time sort of quality. I liked the way that Kitty Pryde and Pete Wisdom talked to each other in the mini series from Ellis the following year. The romantic way the characters spoke in these two titles was the weirdest thing of all to find in a 90's mainstream comic.
