Rafael Grampa visits Desert Island in Brooklyn, NY on 11/14/08 to

Mesmo Delivery is a 56-page comic about an ex-boxer who must deliver a tractor-trailer of goods without looking at the mysterious cargo. The books is filled with amazing black and white artwork and gripping action. "It's unlike anything else out there, and the artwork is so beautiful you can get lost in it." - Popmatic

Rafael Grampa began working as an illustrator at the age of 14 illustrating self-help books in his home country Brazil. During this early period, Grampa also did t-shirt designs, caricatures, children's party decorations, coats of arms and logos for butcher shops and surf shops. After that he graduated to working as an illustrator for a kid's comic publisher. He went to work with animation in 2003 at the Brazilian motion graphics studio LOBO where he was art director and concept designer for four years, working for clients such as The Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon. Rafael launched Mesmo Delivery at the San Diego Comic Con earlier this year. It is his first Graphic Novel.
