Michael Grabowski On The Gene Day Award At The Shusters

I'm not sure how much this matters but the Shuster Award's Gene Day Award for Self-publishing sounds like a continuation/modification of the Gene Day Prize established by Dave Sim in the last few years of Cerebus. He and Gerhard were the judges, and I think there was a $500 prize, along with excerpts published in Cerebus when that was still going. I think 2007 was the last year he did this. One big change is that this new award is specific to Canadian creators while Sim's award was open to anyone self-publishing.
