Alan Choate On My Self-Consciousness
posted March 8, 2009

From the first paragraph alone:

I, my, I, us, our. I, I'd, taking in Watchmen came without a lot of the self-consciousness that seems to be an undercurrent in many reviews. I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I'm.

Tom Spurgeon Responds: Cute, but I would suggest there is a clear and obvious distinction being made there: I was talking about filtering and thinking and substantively writing about the movie, not the stylistic choices anyone made in presenting their review. You're free to disagree that I was successful or that this matters.
