Alan Doane On CR’s Review Of Jenny Sparks

The second-best thing to come out of my recent comics sale is getting to read
your review of
Jenny Sparks: Secret History of The Authority. At the time the book first came out I was head-over-heels in love with Warren Ellis and Bryan Hitch's version of the character, and so was profoundly confused and disappointed by the shitty five-issue mini-series that even then I knew could not possibly be what Ellis saw as Jenny's back story.
But at least the first issue had a fantastic variant cover by Bryan Hitch. In retrospect, that cover is the only good thing to have come out of the mini-series.
