Bob Greenberger On The Departure Of Brenda Starr And Ramona Fradon’s Role In Her History
posted December 11, 2010

A quick note to point out that Ramona Fradon left DC in 1980 to take over Brenda Starr, which she drew from 1980-1995 then June Brigman took over. The strip is unique in that beyond ghosts, it has had a mere three artists during those years.

Messick wrote the strip until she was forced out by the syndicate and then Ramona wrote a week or slightly more until Smich took over until now.
