Cris Skokna On Underappreciated Comics Folk

Here's a combination of underappreciated/want to know more about.

Matt Howarth. Read a couple of his Helix comic series and loved them (real SF comics!), but never gone to seek out more and don't know much about him.

John Workman. A favorite letterer and worked on Heavy Metal in the early years. He's got to have some stories.

Michel Vrana. He was right in there with D&Q, Top Shelf, Alternative, etc. at the start of the SPX age of comics, with book designs that everyone else would appropriate, but dropped off rather quickly. What happened?
