August 11 -- World Wrestling Entertainment has sued Marvel Enterprises over rights to the Hulk Hogan name. Although the aging, brightly tanned Hogan (real name: Terry Bollea) is no longer an active participant for the pay-per-view driven McMahon Family stylized fake combat promotion, his name and presence are believed to be key to the company's on-demand video service.
The suit is believed by observes to be an aggressive ploy by WWE, Inc. coming at the end of a previously agreed-upon deal regarding use of the Hulk name.
