50 Comics Positives In 2012: Someone Tried A Different Convention Model
I wasn't able to go and I'm not sure I've talked to a lot of people that did, but I'm grateful that Portland's
The Projects came off, and I look forward to how they tinker with the basic model in years to come. I love the commercial side of conventions, I really do -- for one thing, it's easy for people to understand -- but any time we can work with a different model it makes all of the conventions and festivals that much sharper.
