Comics has a giving heart, and there was a lot of giving done this year, both directly and indirectly.
The comics-maker and photographer Seth Kushner was one of the recipients, the one that sticks in my mind at year's end with
an on-line campaign and
various events throughout the year intermittently drawing attention to his battle with leukemia. You can still donate through that first link.
