My quick reading of this longish article at ActuaBD.com indicates that the analysis itself is pretty facile, but being reminded that manga has exploded in the French-language market in partnership with a surge in French-language books is a good thing, and they certainly toss a lot of numbers around and drop some names that could make it a good primer even filtered through one of those horrible Internet translation engines.
