* Derf Backderf returns his attention to the webcomics project The Baron Of Prospect Street.

* it only took me about five years of reading it, but yesterday a character returned to Scary Go Round and I know who they were without having to look it up. This is huge for me personally.

* finally, the veteran arts writer and Leonard Zelig of 1990s art-comics publishing Robert Boyd will be spending a year doing a kind of personal-reaction criticism for artists in any medium that strikes him to write about, including comics. He's stealing the idea from RJ Casey.
