Bart Beaty In Angouleme 2009—05
By Bart Beaty, Via Phone
In the end, we were saved by the sun. A beautiful day today drew some people from the tents. But the crowds were still ridiculous. The para-BD tent (toys, etc) had a wait to enter time of maybe half an hour. Also, the crowds were
far worse in the small press tent than the main ones. The line to meet
Zep was the longest of the weekend.
What else to say? Everyone is liking this year, but no one puts it in a "best ever" category. Personally, I am exhausted and the evening hasn't even begun. Seventeen hours until my train, then I can get some rest.
