Billy Ireland Database Now Available

This article published yesterday in the Ohio State University campus newspaper indicates that the searchable database for the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum is up and ready to be used. Seeing as I can barely remember that the OSU library is called "the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum," it's nice to be reminded of this fact and to have a new tool when it comes to checking out potential research material. One of the more important stories of this relatively flush period in the comics medium's history is the establishment of resources at academic institutions, which is the kind of thing that can be of use moving forward into the next few decades, not just the next few book publishing seasons.
