Note that the NYT specifically says "The Funny Pages" is on hiatus, not the strip. "The Funny Pages" is the entire section comprising the one-page strip, the one-page humorous essay, and the serialized novel. It looks to me as if they want to relaunch FP with a new serialized novel at the same time as Seth's new serial, so in the interim they're just running the remainder of the Jaime strip, a "rump Funny Pages" if you will. Since #18 appeared after this announcement, I see no reason to think #19 and #20 won't as well.
