Comic Album On The Government Dime

I have a hard time reading some of the features that emanate from the French-language news clearinghouse -- there's what I think is a whimsical tone that they use that I find very discouraging -- but I believe this article is talking about a comic that will be out this September about the subject of French identity, particularly as experienced by new citizens. Seeing as integration issues are a hot-button topic all over the world, the feature kind of popped at me, but it also brought to mind the recent flap when a government agency in the U.S. sought an in-house cartoonist to perform graphics work and improve moral. While there doesn't seem to be the same problem in France, the article winks that the talent involved will not divulge their advance, which as government work would come from taxpayers' funds.
