Comics By Request: People, Places In Need Of Funding

* the late writer James Vance left behind various pockets of need that could use your help if you're so inclined. Please consider giving.

* Rich Douek and Eric Palicki are both familiar names to me, and it's interesting for me to see names I know working this corner of the comics world. It's not necessarily an advantage to come in as a known quantity.

* not comics: illustrated classics.

* Steve Ditko soldiers on.

* finally: anything from Ally Shwed is likely going to be good, and that's a solid idea for an anthology.
