Comics By Request: People, Places In Need Of Funding

* the second Artist Within book could use some immediate attention if it's to make its initial goal. I remember that first one being a popular-enough book -- at the very least it lodged in my memory.

* I ran a note about Alex Fellows' situation yesterday, but in case that got lost in the Halloween postings here's a reminder. Matt Brady's divorce-related request was also given a stand-alone spotlight.

* among the recognizable names with crowd-funders going right now: Ben Templesmith, Dirk Manning, Blue Delliquanti, Sam Costello, Herbert Crowley, Trina Robbins.

* finally, the new Mike Diana documentary that features Caitlin McGurk of OSU as a producer has a nice jump on things and should make its initial goal. That's a crucially important case, and I hope they have enough money to cover the case in its entirety.
