* the CBLDF is always a fine destination on cold winter nights when you despair of having a positive impact on anything.

* here are a couple of crowd-funders that look like they're on their way but have yet to secure their initial goal: The Big Feminist But and this Peter Pan project.

* there are a lot of comics-makers in Portland.

* I haven't really looked at this crowd-funder, but I'm always intrigued enough by comics-related crowd-funders that aren't actually comics that I've bookmarked it for later.
