I apologize if anyone has tried to phone in the last week. We had flooding down here and a lot of phone service got screwed up, including my own. Since my Internet works, and there are lots of people without service, I decided to wait about 10 days to see if the line comes back on its own. Considering how miserably hot it's been in the rest of the country, I don't want to rage against the occasional weirdness of our
blissfully mild Southwestern Mountain summer. I was caught in a hail storm yesterday out walking and couldn't bring myself to complain. Although, you know, ouch.
