1. The Bangladeshi cartoonist Arifur Rahman, out of jail since March of this year for what many considered an innocuous cartoon riffing on the name Muhammad,
was tried and sentenced without his knowledge and may spend another two months or slightly more in jail.
2. A school board in South Dakota
restricts access to teachers on the anthology
