The top comics-related news stories from November 30 to December 6, 2013:

1. Dan Nadel announces that award-winning boutique comics, culture and art book publisher PictureBox Inc. is done.

2. Fantagraphics makes its ambitious crowd-funding goal for the Spring 2014 season with $72K+ to spare; I was a contributor, too, and look forward to my incentive. Aside from the issue of Fantagraphics being a virtuous publisher worthy of support, the crowd-funder itself was extremely well-run.

3. A massive flurry of comics people in need dominates the pre-holiday comics community landscape.
