Delcourt Takes a Pass On Lost Girls

Citing French law that speaks directly to the transmission of pornographic images depicting underage participants, Delcourt has renounced its French publication rights to Alan Moore and Melinda Gebbie's Lost Girls. While it expresses its reluctance in doing so, the question that immediately arises is if French law changed between the time they seized the rights and this decision, or if something else has cropped up in the interim that's a factor I simply can't see due to my remove from the intricacies of French-language comics publishing. I'm still sorting this one out in my head, so if I get enough information to update I'll do so here.
